Some things I love as much as travel: My family, sunshine, culinary experiences, words, books, music and  my passion for living life well!

My initiation into travel was unexpected. At the age of 4 and 1/2 when my parents  emigrated from Trinidad and Tobago to Canada with my siblings and me.

I wouldn’t board another plane again for 12 years – afraid that flying might once again turn my life upside down.  (can we say trauma)

Instead, I road-tripped with my family.  Fargo and Grand Forks, Minneapolis repeatedly, New York, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia all by the time I was 13.

At 16, I finally took to the skies again to explore more of Canada and I was forever changed, in the best possible way!

As a voracious reader with an insatiable curiosity and a vivid imagination, by age 11 I was dreaming of living in Paris, holidaying in Corfu while learning Greek, and trekking through the mountains of Peru before sailing to Europe to study in Spain and Portugal.

Little did I know how far my imagination would take me.

As an adult, I left Canada for what was meant to be a six-month adventure. Through manifestation and a little magic, that six months turned into over ten years. I lived in seven countries, sailed around the world multiple times while working for a cruise ship company, and visited dozens more along the way.

When I returned to Canada, it was clear: I was called to share my knowledge of the world with others who were just as curious and passionate. So I became a travel agent.

Since then, I’ve eaten my way through the Caribbean, sipped my way through Europe, and excursion-ed my way around places like Alaska, Iceland, and the Netherlands.

Ten years later, Qmooniti was born.
It’s more than a travel company—it’s a lifestyle.
